Ο Αστέρης Μασούρας αναδημοσιεύει στο μπλόγκ του ένα άρθρο του που είδε το φως της δημοσιότητα στο New Europe και στο οποίο πραγματεύεται την χρήση των social media στην κάλυψη της κρίσης στη Γάζα.
Ο Αστέρης, ο οποίος τον τελευταίο καιρό με τη δράση του έχει γίνει ο ίδιος ένα μικρό πρακτορείο ειδήσεων στο twitter, αφού κάνει μια αναδρομή στην χρήση των social media στις διάφορες διεθνείς κρίσεις και περιστάσεις, περιγράφει τις κύριες πηγές για την περίπτωση της Γάζας με ειδική έμφαση στο twitter.

πάλι στο twitter.
Αλλά και παραδοσιακά ή πιο νέα διεθνή μέσα ενημέρωσης, χρησιμοποιούν λογαριασμούς στο twitter όπως ο AJGaza
του Al Jazeera, του μόνο διεθνούς ειδησεογραφικού οργανισμού με επιτόπια παρουσία στη Γάζα καθώς και το νεόκοπο @BreakingNewsOn.
